Perth, Australia-based alternative pop rock artist has featured on our blog once before as part of Jane’s Down Under – Underground round-up about a year ago, but this is my first chance to share his music. His latest is a cinematic wonder and it’s called Cities Burning.

The track is indie rock but with an unconventional twist. Trent-Jean has dialled up the sonic soundscape, with layers of atmosphere and intergalactic vocals. The result is something that’s wonderfully dramatic that reflects how intense love can be.

Cities Burning was created in collaboration with Poons Head Studios and produced by Rob Grant. The single is out now via Trent-Jean and Yannai Goldberg’s 9th-Dimension Records. You can give it a listen below.
