Video: JW Paris – Leave It Alone

JW Paris are a London-based three piece who are inspired by the ’90s grunge and Britpop sound. They’ve just caught my attention thanks to their personal tale of self-discovery and acceptance, Leave It Alone.

By Graeme Smith

Leave It Alone opens with a haunting guitar riff before hitting a quick stride with lively percussion and rumbling bass. Charismatic vocals join the party. They brim with a sense of unease mixed with a confident swagger that perfectly articulates the track’s lyrical story.

JW Paris are Gemma Clarke, Daniel Collins and Aaron Forde. Last year was a big year for them, with their singles receiving national radio play on BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Radio X, Absolute Radio and Amazing Radio. Their second EP is set for release later this year.

Leave It Alone was recorded at Buffalo Studios, produced by JB Pilon and mastered by Cicely Balston of Air Studios. You can watch its video below.
