New York, USA-based dream pop artist Alexia Vegas has featured a couple of times before on this blog. I discovered her in April this year through her track Your Love Is Like a Slow Disease, which was quickly followed up in May with First Kiss (Your Love). Now she’s back with another new one called Feel This Way.

Like her previous two singles, Feel This Way deals with the delicate matter of love. The track gives us all sides of it but focusses on insecurity and uncertainty. The result is something tense and raw. It opens with a looping harp melody which suggests nostalgia as well as something a little more haunting. As always, Alexia’s vocals are beautifully compelling, especially during a soaring, dreamy chorus.

Her latest single is yet more evidence to suggest that Alexia is one to watch. She has a way with words and infuses her music with a relatable sense of emotion. I’m excited about her.
