We’ve featured a lot of St. Austell, Cornwall’s experimental rock band I Am The Unicorn Head on these pages, in particular the singles from their concept album Unicorns In Space. Extra Dimensional Overlords is the latest, and comes complete with an AI featuring video.

If you’ve been keeping up, you’ll know that one of the heros of Unicorns In Space is The Kid. Currently battling dinosaurs on a distant planet, in this chapter of the story, he seeks help from an Intergalactic Rescue organisation called Extra Dimensional Overlords. We, of course, get some cosmic indie rock, and the storytelling in the video wonderfully enhances the track.

I Am The Unicorn Head are the masters of combining the sublime and the ridiculous and Extra Dimensional Overlords might be the best example of that yet. You can watch its video below.
