Melbourne, Australia-based indie pop singer songwriter Jewel Owusu first came to my attention in 2021, but it’s taken up until now to share another track of hers on this blog. I’m so glad she’s back on these pages. Her latest it called b-day.

Since we’ve last heard from her, Jewel has been having a good time. She’s gained recognition from Triple J and on Spotify and now with b-day she’s set to push her success even further. It’s a fresh and interesting pop track. A lively groove is paired with soulful and melancholic vocals creating a track that will make you dance as well as make you feel. A visceral and descriptive chorus proves a standout highlight.
