London-based trio KABELLE first hit our radar at the end of 2022 thanks to their track Wonder. We then followed up with them in March this year, sharing their debut EP Restless Mind. Now they’re back with a synthpop cover of Lewis Capaldi’s Wish You The Best.

KABELLE’s take on Lewis’s track keeps the powerful emotion of the original while adding a rich and atmospheric twist to its instrumentals arrangement. Lyrically it’s heart-breaking but instrumentally it’s vibrant and upbeat, providing a scintillating contrast. They’ve certainly put their stamp on it, especially during a sweeping crescendo at the close.
