Sydney, Australia-based hip hop and RnB artist MUNGMUNG first came to my attention in 2021 thanks to her racy single Nascar. Fast-forward almost two years and she’s making a triumphant return to these pages. Her latest comes with a video, and even a fashion drop. It’s called Internet Friends.

MUNGMUNG’s latest is a track that she wrote when she was sixteen years old, an introspective time for her with the web looming large in her life. With it, she explores the effect it has on impressionable young people and aims to start a conversation. Musically it’s dramatic hip hop that combines old school and modern elements. The vocal flow is irresistible and the lyrics utterly empowering.
