Toronto, Canada based singer songwriter Chris Caulfield first appeared on this blog as part of Jane’s Monthly Favourites roundup in April 2022. He returned to this blog earlier this year thanks to his powerful track Stockholm Syndrome which explored the concept of pain and addiction. His latest is equally deep, meditating on disassociation, adrenaline and anxiety. It’s called Antigravity Mind Chamber.

The emotion of Antigravity Mind Chamber hits you straight away thanks to its atmospheric pop arrangement and Chris’s soulful vocals. There’s an authentic feeling to what Chris is telling us in the track’s lyrics and there’s a perfectly modern feel to its instrumentals which means it will appeal to a wide audience. I say it a lot, but Chris truly is one to watch.
