Jules is a Toronto, Canada-based artist who has just hit my radar thanks to her second ever single release. A delicate, cathartic heartbreak anthem, it’s called steering wheel.

Inspired by the likes of Clairo, Lizzy McAlpin, Billie Maren and Phoebe Bridgers, jules writes and performs intimate storytelling tracks in the same vein. Steering wheel is a track lost in nostalgia, exploring love that once was but is no more, delivered against a backdrop of acoustic guitar. The most captivating feature is jules’s vocals – they’re utterly mesmerising.
