London-based three-piece rock band JW Paris have featured on this blog a couple of times before. They first came to our attention in July thanks to their track and video Leave It Alone. We then followed that up with a share of You’ve Got Me in October. Their newest is a firebrand of a track, taking on societies pressures to conform. It’s called Alive.

In a world that is feeling increasingly inauthentic, JW Paris encourage to return to what we know is real in their latest track. It suggests we stop thinking what others want from us, and instead focus on what we want from ourselves with its message delivered through jangly, life-affirming indie rock. The vocals are expressive, giving some bite to the swaggering arrangement.

Alive was recorded in Buffalo Studios. In a moment of life imitating art, the studio has just had to relocate due to corporate development. The track is out now via Blaggers Records and you can check it out below.
