Leeds-based alternative rock band Artio have featured on this blog a couple of times before, with Jane running the rule over their tracks Demigod and Wallflower last year.

Now it’s my turn to share some of their music courtesy of their latest single You Set My House On Fire. A team-up with Australian rock duo Those Who Dream, it’s the lead track from their debut album Babyface which is out now via Slam Dunk Records.

You Set My House On Fire sits at the emotional climax of the album and tells a story of learning to love oneself and throw away toxic relationships. There’s a suitably cathartic feel about its composition, which brings together pure punk with vibrant electronica. Its singalong chorus is utterly anthemic.
