Moldova-born, Dunshaughlin, Ireland-based fine artist and singer songwriter Christina Movileanu has featured on this blog a couple of times before. Jane discovered her for us last autumn, and was so taken with her sound that she posed some questions for her too.

Now it’s my turn to share some of her music thanks to the recent release of her single Heaven’s Blend. Her latest is a collaboration with Spain-based Marjo Gómez and the pair harmonise beautifully during its tale of the highs and lows of life. Marjo’s poetry is delicately delivered by Cristina’s expressive vocals before the track arrives as at cosmic crescendo.

Heaven’s Blend was produced by Musiversal and features Mike Fonte on mandolin and guitar, João Paulo Drumond on percussion, and Bruno Migliari on bass. Mixing and mastering was by Bruce Allen and Pedro Araújo did the arrangement. The track is available now in all the usual places and you can check it out below.
