Emily’s new track is an emotional one, written in the wake of losing her best friend. It explores the dichotomy of the experience and captures how grief is never straightforward. Singing with understated yet heart-breaking passion, she brings her friendship to life with rich storytelling detail. A simple acoustic instrumental builds in a cathartic chorus.
