Lolocrash is a Paris, France-based experimental group led by Léonard Stefanica. They’ve just released their latest track and video, Loulou.

The new single sees Lolocrash return from an absence of fifteen years and it’s a striking comeback. Starting gentle and stripped-back, a single plucked note builds atmosphere before rumbling drums come in. The vocals are spoken word during an intense verse before building with lingering, ambience and elements of post rock. Things arrive almost inevitably at a haunting and cinematic finish.

Lolocrash is simply an incredible act that transcends perceived limitations. I’m so glad to have discovered their music.
