Casii Stephan is an American funk, pop and rock artist who we are welcoming to our pages with her powerful new anthem for slighted women, Average Man.

Born in Minnesota and now based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Casii originally set out on a career as a songwriter before starting to record her own music.

For her new single Average Man, she took inspiration from the story of Shania Twain who, while suffering with Lyme disease, was cheated on by her ex-husband. This opened her to a wider narrative of men leaving their sick partners. The story is told against a soulful rock backdrop in which Casii’s vocals are the star of the show. An anthemic chorus will having you moving as much as it will have you feeling.
