Ricko Baird revives the ’70s via Michael Jackson for fiery new video, I’m Lit.

By Graeme Smith

A singer, musician and producer, Ricko has not only danced with Michael Jackson on stage as part of Michael Jackson and friends, he’s also starred as the singer in the West End musical Thriller Live.

His latest single I’m Lit brings the ’70s soul of James Brown right up to date. Its video is framed as a throwback TV performance and focusses on Ricko’s charismatic style. Between soulful verses he busts a move, and a funky groove strongly compels us to do the same.

The track is the second single from Ricko’s new EP frequency, co-written with his brother Steve Baird and available via his website. You can check out the video for I’m Lit below.
