Sunderland’s Tom A. Smith joins forces with Swim School‘s Alice Johnson for powerful new single, I don’t want you to have to remember me for longer than you ever knew me.

Both acts have recently taken to the stage of Reading and Leeds Festival, and yours truly was in the crowd to catch Tom open Leeds in 2022. They’re the kind of up and comers waiting the wings to be the next big thing, so it seemed natural for them to collaborate, and it might just be what they need to take their careers to the next level.

Tom is an artist in the vein of his fellow Northeaster Sam Fender and …Remember Me… so his fans are going to find a lot to love about it. Alice’s vocals provide some beautiful texture in the harmonies, and ramp up the emotion of the understatedly anthemic chorus.
