Discovery: The Way Out Of Here releases soulful first single

London via Mexico artist The Way Out Of Here debuts with soulful new rock single, I’ll Be Away.

By Graeme Smith

The Way Out Of Here is the performing name of Pablo Amador. Originally from Mexico, he’s now based in London. After drumming for a number of London bands, he’s decided to release his first solo project.

His debut single, I’ll Be Away, draws on the soulful rock of John Mayer and Red Hot Chili Peppers. It opens lingering and stripped-back with a gentle guitar riff before Pablo’s expressive vocal comes in. There’s some wonderfully captivating storytelling display in his lyrics and things become beautifully dreamy in the chorus. It all builds nicely to a bluesy guitar solo before ending with a splash of cymbals.

If you’re enticed to hear more from Pablo, he’s promised that he has a math rock EP on the horizon.

I’ll Be Away recorded at Zig Zag Studios in Woolwich, London, produced by Ula Wodarz, and mixed and mastered by Santiago Abad. It’s out now and you can give it a listen below.
