Becoming a regular on our blog, country’s rising star D’Lee is back with a single that keeps it real.

A Gentleman is cantering country pop with a compelling rhythm and powerful vocals. The lyrics speak of good old-fashioned etiquette, calling on those whose behaviour leave something to be desired to do better. A rock breakdown sets up the triumphant finish nicely.

“This one’s all about celebrating the real ones,” says D’Lee. “The kind of guy who isn’t afraid to be respectful, romantic, and real. It’s sexy, it’s sweet, and it’s got a beat that’ll get you on your feet.”

The track comes off the back of her other 2025 singles, Everything Is Fine and Evel Knievel, and all three will feature on her upcoming EP, 55. With what we’ve heard so far, the EP is set to be a varied yet coherently lively record.

D’Lee has a beautifully expressive voice, and a way of penning a classic pop track that always proves captivating. It’s easy to see why she has the fanbase she has. Her star is rising and she has all she needs to make it big. Don’t sleep on her.
