Fran Lusty is a London-based indie folk singer songwriter whose dreamy and vulnerable new track I’m Blue caught my attention.

With minimal, acoustic instrumentals and Fran’s haunting vocals, I’m Blue captures your heart from the off. As the track progresses to the first chorus, a jazzy, percussive groove kicks in and the track finds a form of upbeat energy that contrasts nicely with the vocals. It’s all very well done.

Having recently moved to London from Germany, Fran has been discovering the city through pubs and music venues while studying for a PhD in Literature. Yet, it was actually sitting at home watching a rom com that ultimately inspired this track.
