On Saturday, York Theatre Royal played host to Live and Unplugged, the first event of hopefully many. Although there was a formal line-up, the event felt more like an open mic, with an eclectic mix of York’s performers playing 3-song stints in the theatre’s café bar. The three events you shouldn’t miss this week.
Fast becoming one of the top music festivals in the city of York, York’s Little Festival of Live Music last Friday took on the challenge to prepare and deliver a high quality 16-hour music festival with only seven days notice. The festival will run alongside Visit York’s Easter Family Festival on Parliament Street from 25th-28th March.
On Wednesday, folk and Americana singer Lowri Evans headed to The Crescent in support of her newly released 6th album. With support from local duo Mulholland and Waste of Paint, it was a show not be missed. Check out some of the pics below from the night.
