Discovery: Mince

Mince are a post-punk band from just down the road in Leeds. Formed in 2021 by school friends Jamie Haddington, Owen Bennett and George McDermott, the three rounded off their current line-up with Clem Pulham Creagh on bass and Matthew Banks on drums. Their latest track is a homage to being care-free. It’s called Misprint.

EP Review: Lia Nxieta – Soul Scapes

Lia Nxieta is a Zurich, Switzerland-based alternative pop and R&B artist who I first discovered last autumn through her sultry track and video Good Boy. Since then, she’s been working on her debut EP, which was recently released. Consisting of four tracks that show the different sides of her sound, it’s called Soul Scapes.
